This movie basically killed all other scifi movies which could touch on the theme of an AI going against humans. Yes, there are some worthy competitors out there, like Terminator, Matrix and Ex Machina, but the genre really reached it's peek early.
The fabulous music scenes, in tune with the amazing cinematography. The unspoken philosophical aspects which don't need to be in your face, like the sequels to Matrix.
What a movie to discover the themes of a dangerous AI, and it was released almost six decades ago, when we were not even close to a ChatGPT or real societal discussion about the dangers of AI.
Cheers to the artist of the "HAL 9000" graffiti I have seen close to Père-Lachaise cemetery on Paris, that reminded me I need to watch this movie more often.
