My name is Martinus Plog, 39, and I live in the Netherlands. I am interested in writing, society, culture and the mix of it all. This blog is my writing pad, my journal and my creative writing.
Why I write:
- for my own pleasure
- to put my thoughts in order
- to share specific topics in which I dug in
- to bring some stories into the world
Going forward I intend to write essays in the opinion newspaper column crossed with twitter feeds type writing. My prose is dry and pragmatic without overburdening it with details. Reading should be fun, not everything is an academic thesis.
My internet philosophy is to keep everything as minimalist as possible. This website will stay simple, black and white, and focused on the text.
