My name is Martinus Plog, 37, and I live in the Netherlands. I am interested in writing as a career hobby. This blog is my writing pad, my journal.
Why I write:
- for my own pleasure
- to put my thoughts in order
- to share specific topics in which I dug in
- to bring some stories into the world
Going forward I intend to write essays in the opinion newspaper column crossed with twitter feeds type writing. My prose is dry and pragmatic and my research is not deep. When I dig into something I usually do it quickly to form a quick and opinion on that topic, not to become an expert on it.
My internet philosophy is to keep everything as minimalist as possible. This website will stay simple, black and white, and focused on the text.
